TravSure Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “Traveler,” or “Helper”) and TravSure, Inc. (“TravSure,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) governing your access to and use of the TravSure website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Services.

1. Platform Overview

TravSure operates a technology platform that connects travelers seeking general in-person assistance (“Travelers”) with local individuals offering non-professional guidance and support (“Helpers”).

TravSure facilitates communication, scheduling, and payment processing between Users.

TravSure does not provide medical, legal, emergency, transportation, licensed trade, or professional services. All assistance provided through the platform is general, non-specialized, and intended for everyday travel situations.

TravSure is not a staffing agency, employer, contractor, or service provider.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Services only if:

  • You are at least 18 years old;
  • You have legal capacity to enter into binding agreements;
  • You are not prohibited from using the Services under applicable law.

Helpers may be required to complete identity verification and provide additional background information.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account and provide accurate, current information.

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining confidentiality of your login credentials;
  • All activity conducted under your account;
  • Promptly notifying TravSure of unauthorized use.

TravSure may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or unsafe conduct.

4. Nature of the Relationship

TravSure provides a marketplace platform only.

TravSure does not:

  • Employ Helpers;
  • Control, supervise, or direct Helper conduct;
  • Guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or suitability of any interaction;
  • Provide professional advice or services.

Helpers operate as independent individuals and are not employees, agents, or representatives of TravSure.

5. In-Person Meeting Requirements

For safety reasons:

  • Meetings must occur only in public, well-lit, accessible locations.
  • Private residences, hotel rooms, vehicles, or isolated areas are strictly prohibited.
  • Either party may terminate a session immediately if safety concerns arise.

Users assume responsibility for their own safety and judgment during interactions.

6. Prohibited Services

Helpers may provide only general, everyday travel assistance, such as:

  • Language support
  • Directions and navigation guidance
  • Cultural orientation
  • General logistical help

The following services are strictly prohibited:

  • Medical care or emergency response
  • Legal advice
  • Financial advice
  • Transportation in private vehicles
  • Licensed trade services
  • Any task requiring professional certification
  • Any illegal or unsafe activity

Requests or provision of prohibited services may result in immediate account termination.

7. Payments and Fees

All payments must be processed through the TravSure platform.

Travelers agree to:

  • Pay the fees displayed in the platform;
  • Authorize TravSure to charge their selected payment method;
  • Not bypass the platform for payment.

Helpers agree to:

  • Receive payouts only through the platform;
  • Not solicit off-platform payment.

TravSure retains a platform fee per transaction.

Chargebacks, payment disputes, or attempts to circumvent platform payments may result in account suspension.

8. Cancellations and Refunds

Refunds and cancellations are governed by TravSure’s posted policies.

TravSure may assess cancellation fees for late cancellations.

Refund decisions are made at TravSure’s discretion and may consider session timing, conduct, and platform policy compliance.

9. Communications and SMS Consent

By creating an account and providing your phone number, you consent to receive transactional communications from TravSure, including:

  • Booking confirmations
  • Session reminders
  • Helper request notifications
  • Payment confirmations
  • Safety alerts

These communications may be delivered via:

  • Email
  • SMS text message
  • In-app notifications

Message frequency varies by user activity. Message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out of SMS by replying STOP. You may reply HELP for assistance.

You may not opt out of essential service communications.

10. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for unlawful purposes;
  • Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users;
  • Misrepresent your identity;
  • Provide false information;
  • Record or film users without explicit consent;
  • Use automated tools to access or scrape the platform;
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or tamper with the Services.

TravSure reserves the right to remove content or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

11. Ratings and Reviews

Users may submit ratings and reviews following sessions.

TravSure may moderate, remove, or restrict reviews that:

  • Are abusive or defamatory;
  • Contain false information;
  • Violate platform policies.

TravSure does not guarantee the accuracy of user-generated content.

12. Intellectual Property

All platform content, including software, designs, logos, trademarks, text, and graphics, is owned by TravSure or licensed to TravSure.

Users may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or reverse engineer any portion of the platform without written permission.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”

TravSure makes no representations or warranties regarding:

  • The conduct or qualifications of Users;
  • The outcome of any interaction;
  • Platform uptime or uninterrupted availability.

TravSure disclaims all express and implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

TravSure is not liable for any injuries, damages, losses, or claims arising from interactions between Travelers and Helpers.

TravSure’s total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by you through the platform in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

TravSure is not responsible for:

  • User misconduct;
  • Accidents during in-person meetings;
  • Miscommunications;
  • Delays or cancellations.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TravSure, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Services;
  • Your interactions with other users;
  • Your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

16. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association.

You waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in class actions.

Arbitration shall occur in Delaware unless otherwise agreed in writing.

17. Termination

TravSure may suspend or terminate accounts at its sole discretion.

Users may terminate their accounts by contacting support.

Termination does not relieve Users of outstanding financial obligations.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

19. Modifications

TravSure may update these Terms at any time.

Updated Terms become effective upon posting. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
